Pet Centric Employer Certification Program Reaches Major Milestone
Our Pet Centric Employer Certification Program has reached a major milestone! Over 120 employer groups are now Pet Centric Certified through Pet Benefit Solutions, showcasing their dedication to pet-friendly employee benefits.
Pet Benefit Solutions is excited to announce that over 120 employer groups have officially become Pet Centric Certified! The Pet Centric Employer Certification program acknowledges organizations that empower their employees through comprehensive pet care support, resulting in heightened happiness, engagement, and loyalty. Among the new leaders in pet-centric workplaces are New Home Star, the Humane League, Call Miner, Manasquan Bank, Yaskawa America, Cavender’s, Everlane, and more.
The Pet-Centric Certification demonstrates a commitment to an inclusive and pet-friendly workplace, helping employers create a positive public image and enhance their reputation as an employer of choice.
As an increasingly popular workplace perk – coming in at number four on Goldman Sachs must-have benefits list of 2023 – pet benefits offer a competitive edge in attracting and retaining top talent. One in three Fortune 500 companies now offer pet benefits to their employees, recognizing the rising cost of pet care for the 67% of American households who own pets. Pet benefits are especially favored among millennials and Gen Z, who value a company culture rooted in comprehensive employee wellness.
“We are always looking for ways to add value and benefit our employees,” relates Leslie Johnson, Vice President of Operations at American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing. “The Pet Centric Certification from Pet Benefit Solutions was a great way to recognize the 72% of AAPACN employees who have pets as part of their families. We are proud to be a Pet Centric Employer!”
Pet Benefit Solutions created the new certification as a way to champion pets in the workplace. “We understand the powerful bond between people and their pets,” states Rachel Ostreicher, COO of Pet Benefit Solutions. “Including pet wellness initiatives in employee benefits packages is a crucial step in creating a happier, more productive work environment.”
“Trust, respect, fun, commitment, and integrity are foundational values that contribute significantly to a pet-centric work culture,” states Richard Tremblay, HR Manager at Prefere Melamines LLC, a newly Pet-Certified employer. “Together, these values create a balanced and inclusive pet-centric culture that benefits employees, pets, and the organization.”
