You see, we’re looking back at 2019, and what an exciting year it was!
We’re thrilled with our company’s growth, of course.
BUT. . . we’re just as thrilled that we’ve come up with even better ways to serve you, our clients.
The best of 2019
Here are some highlights of our incredible 2019:
- An unbelievable 96.56% group renewal rate.
- HR managers saw Pet Assure enrollment rates as high as 20.3%.
- Enrollment for Pet Assure was hosted on dozens of technology platforms, including:

But as impressive as they are, those stats only tell part of the story of 2019.
Inc. 5000
Back in August, Inc. Magazine revealed its annual Inc. 5000, and (drumroll, please) – Pet Assure (DBA Pet Benefit Solutions) ranked 3138 on the prestigious list!
Inc. started recognizing successful companies in 1982, ranking companies based on percentage of revenue growth over the last three years. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, and LinkedIn gained their first national exposure on the Inc. 5000.
Pet Benefit Solutions earned its place on the 2019 list with a growth rate of 117%!
The Inc. 5000 honor came on the heels of PBS’s record-breaking 2018 when we rolled out our full suite of top pet benefits:
- Pet Health Insurance
- Veterinary Discount Plan
- Prescription Discount Plan
We know that our extraordinary growth comes from filling the needs of diverse pets and pet families.
And we’re continuing to improve our services.
New Company Administrator Login
But that’s only half of our success story. The other half comes from our HR partners in over 6000 companies.
Our new HR portal was rolled out in 2019 to serve the needs of those dedicated HR administrators and employees.
The new portal offers a whole slew of time saving benefits to overworked company administrators, explains Nataly Miranda, PBS Account Manager:
- Enrollee information - An easy way to find each enrollees’ plan information. That’s important since many companies manage more than one plan.
- Landing page link - Link to company’s custom PBS landing page.
- Product info - Information on each product the company offers and how many active employees for each one.
- ID cards - Digital Pet Assure ID cards.
- Secure file upload - Ability to upload files (such as with social security numbers) securely through the portal.
- Contact information - Billing and account manager contact information.
- Resources - Links to educational brochures, FAQs, and videos for employees.
“Before [the portal], I noticed that a lot of people were calling customer service for HR-related issues when that’s not who they should be calling. They should be calling me,” explains Nataly.
The new portal puts that information at HR’s fingertips, streamlining communication.
"I had been out on vacation for a couple of weeks and upon returning I thought to check in and see how many employees had signed up for pet benefits. The group portal showed me all the employees that enrolled and what they are enrolled in. Very easy and detailed."
